wetlands, crossing rivers, passing lakes and spectacular
fynbos plant habitat, offering a varied riding route.
• Visits to venues of real interest, Gantouw Pass
original 150 Year Ox wagon route prior to the building
of Sir Lowry's Pass and visiting diverse habitat areas
of interest
• Overview of organic farming in our valley
• High quality picnic lunch at a waterfall and
coffee and refreshments en route included

• Hire of bikes or quads - motorcycle 200cc / 4
stroke, 250cc/4 stroke, state of the art lightweight
easy to handle off road. Quad bikes - 150cc/fully automatic
for smaller people and beginners, 250cc , 400cc 4x4,
300cc fully automatic, 500cc 4x4 ranger for passengers

Heights Trail

a support vehicle, permits, accommodation,
field guide leader, refreshments en route,
picnic lunch. Traveling the highest mountain
route to Landroskop - Hottentots Holland Nature
Reserve. Overnight in a log cabin. Bring sleeping
bag. Short walks to sneeukop Mountain 1800m
on jeep trail. We return on the bikes after
breakfast the following morning at 11 am.
