Take N2 East from Cape
Town (to Garden Route) over Sir Lowery's Pass (First
Mountain Range)
From the top of the pass continue about 8 Km to
Orchard Farm Stall (which has large sign on roof).
Turn left into Grabouw village main road. At second
STOP, at the Post office, turn left into Worcester
rd.
Continue on tar road 2 km
Turn right at the Elgin Grabouw Country Club turnoff,
cross over the railway line, and fork left. Follow
the signs to the Country Club.
You will see Nature Discovery’s sign at the
entrance to the Country Club. Please report to the
office on arrival.
Look forward to seeing you! Allow approx 1 hour
from Cape Town.
Directions from
Hermanus
- Take N2 west to Cape Town towards Sir Lowry's
Pass (First Mountain Range).
- Opposite the Peregrine Farm stall turn right into
Grabouw Main Road.
- After the bridge turn right into Worcester Road.
- Continue on tar for 2 km. Turn right at the Elgin
Grabouw Country Club turnoff, cross over the railway
line, and fork left. Follow the signs to the Country
Club.
You will see Nature Discovery’s sign at the
entrance to the Country Club. |

Heights Trail

a support vehicle, permits, accommodation,
field guide leader, refreshments en route,
picnic lunch. Traveling the highest mountain
route to Landroskop - Hottentots Holland Nature
Reserve. Overnight in a log cabin. Bring sleeping
bag. Short walks to sneeukop Mountain 1800m
on jeep trail. We return on the bikes after
breakfast the following morning at 11 am.
