My family and I have now returned to the UK following a holiday of a life time to SA. One of the best days we had was doing the 1 day quad tour of the Grabouw-Elgin valley. I'm ashamed to say I can't remember the name of our guide - but she was excellent! We had an exciting ride over the mountains and got a lot of interesting facts about the area we were going over. We even met a deadly snake and took photo's of it - well spotted by our guide.

If we ever come back, I will be sure to look you up and probably take a longer tour. Anyone who even thinks they may want to give it a try should come to you. The bikes we used (the Suzuki 400's) were brilliant and very comfortable to ride. The were also well maintained; which is more than I can say for the other quad bike company we used - all four bikes (my wife had a go at this one) were poor and unreliable - I ended up coming back down the mountain without an engine and the other bike they gave me was inadequate and also broke down..

My sons and I are still raving about it and it is a day we won't forget.

A short note to thank you for a great “second” outing with your outfit, it was indeed great fun all round. Not even the light rain could cast a damper on proceedings on the first day. Although we have taken over 100 pictures, they cannot really capture the essence of the trip and the fun had by all. Your trip was, as with the first outing 6 years ago, well organised, with good food and snacks, with wheeled equipment that performed faultlessly, even though one of my guys tested to see what position is most stable for a bike…which he found to be horizontal rather than vertical. Not to mention that other individual, whom shall remain nameless, that had to be black-marked for that uncontrollable urge to break traction, but we understand, his wife simply will not allow this under any other circumstance…

The scenery on day 2 and 3 was truly spectacular and we feel privileged to have experienced it first hand. Be sure that I will recommend your offering to any person who enjoys the outdoors, quads and bikes, whilst still enjoying the pristine beauty of the Cape.

I have burned a CD with our pictures and will pass this on to you.

Once again many thanx to Stuart and Ann, the staff at Nature Discovery that make this experience possible. I have included a picture from our first ride in 2004 and two from our latest trip.

Jason and I have just returned to Canada after having a wonderful time in South Africa. We wanted to extend our sincere thanks for taking us out on such an exciting and fun adventure with the quads. We had a blast - and it was very much appreciated that you took us out just the two of us and on a sunday no less!!!
 
We look forward to making a return trip to Africa sometime in the future and would love to return to perhaps join you on an overnight adventure. If your longer trips are anything similar to the short excursions, they will be well worth it.

Other than achieving our goals, we found the Orienteering Programme very informative and it also served to improve our communication levels. Shaun (sp) was especially well informed and imparted his vast knowledge with much professionalism.

The quad biking proved to be the highlight of our stay. While I was cognisant of the fact that we were not going to achieve any meaningful team cohesion from this activity, the fun factor alone was enough to cause my team to leave with broad smiles across their faces. Could you please convey our thanks and appreciation to Stuart and Barbara who led us on the 2 hour forest and mountain tour?

Thank you once again for hosting us. Our colleagues are very envious after looking at the pics and listening to our stories – I’m almost certain that another department from the King James Group will be calling on your services in the near future.

We decided to have an outdoor outing to celebrate Women's Day, rather than some sit-down function in a hotel. The spirit was simply marvelous and everyone said they had a great time. It was an excellent way of getting the females together outside of their working environment. The comments and the attitude towards the outing as a team building exercise was just brilliant and I am glad everyone had a fun time.

Thank you to you and your assistants for going the extra mile for our Associates’ year-end function on Saturday. We have had fantastic feedback and each and every one thoroughly enjoyed the day. The awning was a very good idea, but it seems that if you intend to do this in the future, there should be a ‘smoker’s corner’ so that no one can unintentionally set the forest alight! Thank you for a wonderful and informative tour of the Boland mountains and surrounds. It was the absolute highlight of my long weekend away!!
As an ex scrambler/enduro rider, it was wonderful to be riding again in the outdoors/mountainous areas that one isn't often exposed/allowed to!
The sheer beauty of the area was totally overwhelming and one couldn't help but slow down and try and absorb the view of the mountains, dams and surrounding vegetation.
A most enjoyable time was had by all, and we will unanimously be back!!! Looking forward to your week long excursions.

Just a note to thank you again for yesterday
Having never driven a  quad-bike or motorbike before, I was a little nervous about steering the bike and getting the gears right, but after 10 minutes was feeling much more comfortable and quite confident. The route was really interesting, with just enough rugged terrain to make it challenging and after an hour I felt like a real pro! And then there was still the rest of the afternoon to really see where the bikes could go!
I now can't wait to get back onto the bike and do it all again, this time for a full day trip.
So - thanks for the best afternoon I have had in a really long time - Trevor said the look on my face
was worth every cent he paid!

back home in England at last and have already recommended your nature discovery tours to all our friends.
What a fantastic way to explore the Grabouw-Elgin valley. Each of our three tours was different and exhilarating. For Yvonne & Donna it was there first time on Quad Bikes and they cannot stop talking about the fun they had and the wonderful plants and mountain scenery. Nick our grandson 15 had a great time on the bike and Dave and I agreed that words would not be enough to describe what was for us the perfect adventure. Thanks again, will see you in 2005 for our seven day tour.

Dear Brian,

How does one describe something as good as the trip my son (14) and I just experienced with you. Better than anyone can ever imagine! The fun we had matched the scenery - awesome! The informative discussions certainly re-opened our eyes to the wonders of nature and the amazing diversity of the area. I am sure the ear to ear grins on our faces will soon make place for withdrawal symptoms - so we are already planning the two day trip!
